They've changed a little bit!!

• The verses are now longer. I merged the old two verses into one verse, and created a new verse for verse 2.

• The chorus lyrics have changed

• The pre-chorus is now shorter. I split the old pre-chorus into two.

• I still don't have a bridge!

Chord progression

I changed the key and chord progression lol. It is now:

VERSE: C - G - C - G - D - C

PRE-CHORUS: C - D - Em - D - C - G

CHORUS: C/C - C/D - C/E - D/F# - C/C - C/D - C/E - D/F# - C/C - C/D - G

Hmm... I like it better than the old chord progression... but I don't love it. Hopefully when my mate James Watson and I jam out (he agreed to help me out yayyy!!) he will work some magic haha.

Melody

This has changed! The verses are completely different and the pre-chorus and choruses are similar.

Sorry that the balance is super out and the piano is way louder than my singing HAHA - I just recorded with my phone to record my progress and have a reference point for developing the song. My phone is second hand and the speakers are pretty shot so this is the best it can do lol.

Vibe

I'm thinking that to match the songs lyrics/story best, this track should be very chill and gentle. Because it is about hurt, heartbreak and longing for love - it shouldn't be an upbeat song. I'm thinking of just having piano and vocals. - James Watson on piano tho not me HAHA I can't play that good.
