Project Progress #9

So... I guess, I'm done? I've written, recorded and mixed my song, Breathin'.

Well that's boring...

What now?

I guess I could be ahead of schedule and hand it in now and relax! Early holiday!

But that would be boring.

I love editing videos too so... music video???

Brainstorm ideas

Initially, I thought it would be nice to film James and I performing 'live' by the piano and dubbing over the sound. But to be quite honest, that sounds quite easy and I love being creative and I think I can do something that exercises more of my creative mind!! So instead, I'm thinking of having a full-on music video with a story line attached, kinda like a short film! The story would match the lyrics... so like;

VERSES: Girlfriend is contemplating the relationship and feeling hurt from unrequited love.

PRE-CHORUSES: Girlfriend is having a really good time with her boyfriend in this very moment. She really loves him and is happy when she is with him!

CHORUSES: Girlfriend is hiding feelings of hurt and pain, because she loves her boyfriend too much to admit things aren't working. KEY LYRIC: "I'm breathin' for you, though I don't want to." She wants to end things, but can't help her heart's desire to stay with him.

BRIDGE: Girlfriend has finally accepted the reality that things are not working. Now, she is trying to move on.

I'm gonna have a brainstorm what that would look like in shots and scenes and chuck it up in the next progress blog!! I think the only two characters necessary are the girl and the boy; alternating scenes of just the girl and the girl and boy together.
